Glomex Military Supplies handed over 5 Night Vision goggles (ANVIS) to the Police of the Czech Republic.

In May 2018, Glomex Military Supplies handed over 5 pieces of Night Vision Goggles to the Police of the Czech Republic (ANVIS). The supply was carried out on the basis of a tendering procedure.

Night vision goggles are used for advanced helicopter crew training. They enable pilots to land at night and in the dark.  Apart from performing tasks for the Police of the Czech Republic, the goggles are also used for deployment of the flight unit within the Integrated Rescue System. The whole helmet system (SPH-5 type) and night vision goggles meet the most stringent criteria imposed on current military and police air forces performing tasks at night including low level flights, landing on unknown terrain without ground guides etc.
